Wobble through steering wheel at 40mph
« on: June 23, 2009, 20:46:23 »
Hi guys & gals, Just after some info. I am currently experiencing wobble through steering wheel at 40mph. I have changed the steering damper, but still the same. I have recently put some road tyres back on. could it be the tracking?? Your help is appreciated.

Cheers

Matt

Had a similar problem a while back, turned out to be a wheel out of balance.

If it didn't do it with previous wheels I would suspect wheel balance. Get all your wheels balanced first and see if it goes.

Agreed, wheel wobble through the steering is usually balance.

Cheers for the comment. I had a small feeling about the uj's.
I am going to put the mud wheels back on for now and get the others
powder coated & then balanced. Hopefully problem should be sorted.
