so angry - pugsley attacked
« on: June 29, 2009, 14:42:15 »
Hi,

was woken up at 3.30 this morning by pugsley's alarm - geoff went out to find our neighbour outside, having seen a kid around pugsley.

yup, window smashed & satnav gone, but he was disturbed and did not get the cable so the satnav is pretty useless once the battery goes down, who is going to pay for a satnav with no power?

cost me £87 for a window, but lesson learned, we live in a quiet area but these morons obviously cruise looking for easy targets.  ours will not be so easy next time.

regards

Sorry for your loss (http://onlinenews.warwickshire.police.uk/general_info/SatNav)

Anyhow, car charger a few quid on ebay for most models every made, so would be a trivial issue to replace.

You might find the satnav on there too soon.  IIRC ours has a key code lock thingy so that you can't download it if it's been stolen, not sure exaclty as I've sleapt since then :?

Sorry to here about your theft.
Mine got niked for an Inland Revenue carpark opposite the Magistrates court in daylight in Manchester. Both sites have cctv that showed nothing at all! So much for my protection and saftey.
A "traffic warden" tried to give me a ticket on the grounds that I would have overstayed my time waiting for the Dibble to arrive.
