A nervous Treggy says hi!

Hi all,

First post  here.  Just wanted to say hi.

I drive a Treg!  A VW Touareg (I know, I know ... well, I think it's a proper off-roader) 3.0 V6 TDI which at the moment is still very, very shiny and not going on anything too extreme.  I live in Somerset and a couple of mud-club members are coming down to escort me and some fellow treggies on some soft Green Lanes round here at the end of the month.

I expect my problem when it does come time to take my Treg off road properly will be the vehicle's extreme width at 74" :-o

Hi :)

I wouldn't worry about 74" ... that's only 4" wider than a Discovery 1. I have to deal with 86.25" (with the mirrors out), or 80" with them in.... in my L322 :(

But hey, it's only paint!

hello and welcome. wou :lol:ldnt worry about width.... im putting unimog axles under the disco with 14" wide boggers so, you dont have any problems compared to me! :lol:
