By 'Poppy' do you mean a Red 300TDi 3 door?

If so, yes, it got purchased as a new road car (and expedition vehicle when I get round to it) for my girlfriend froma lovely lady in Kent, and we are very happy with it. Just done a long trip from Birmingham to Suffolk in it and ir never missed a beat.

That sounds like Poppy :D fantastic motor, I owned her from 2000 until 2006, never had a scrap of trouble and didn't cost me a penny apart from the yearly MOT ticket. Great she's still called Poppy, I'd put it to vote on another forum and someone's daughter said she should be called Poppy cos she's red, also Exmoor Beast had just lost his Patterdale called Poppy so I thought it rather fitting.

Welll its still standard (apart from the ARB winch bumper on the front and a set of larger General Grabber AT2 tyres), but they are there because we are planning on using it for overland travel next year. Hasn't cost me a penny either so far, only the tyres and a full service. Its definitely still called Poppy, even got it in small silver letters on the side. If you want some photos, ask away, Im sure I can get her indoors to take some. It does polish up very well.
