kids going offroad & driving information please
« on: July 13, 2009, 12:16:18 »
Hi,

i seem to think a couple of months ago someone wrote about their kids doing an off road course where they were allowed to drive.  my twins turn 13 in 6 weeks and would love to do this so if anyone can point me in the right direction, i would be eternally grateful.

I know at whaddon near milton kynes there are a few quiet parts of the site where younger drivers can go around as the last time i was there, there were some driving about, but i'm not sure if this was supossed to be happening, but worth talking to them to see if you can.

It depends on a few things but on private land you can drive before you turn 17, you can get an MSA licence at something like 11 or 12 years old and go racing, some pay N break sites allow it too.

That will be me  :D

Colin a friend of mine runs 4xfun, though as he is having difficulty finding a permanent site to operate he may have to pack the venture in.

Here is the link to what I posted and contains all the info, could be worth popping him an email  ;)
