Hi all,
My landy went for an MOT and failed.
apparently not sweeping the screen adequately. its a D plate land rover and the wipers start at around 45 degrees and sweep accross and back to the 45 degree position. this leaves a spot of around 2" in the middle of the screen that is not being swept. never before have i been picked up for this and i thought it is normal for land rovers of that age (D PLATE) to not a) park at the bottom of the scrren like a td5 and B) that there is an unswept area of around 2".
Can i appeal?
Rob

Sounds a bit heavy. Can you fit the later type blades? That might improve the area covered.

well my b reg 90 was the same, and in never got failed for that, without looking,i'd imagine if you put longer blades on,it would catch on the top of the windscreen frame, dont know, but that sounds a load of rubbish to me mate.
