FIAT 4Wd
« on: August 08, 2009, 19:31:05 »
I am in Italy I just saw an old (85?) FIAT 4wd I liked the look of. Looks wise cross between a G Wagen and an 88 and size a bit bigger than an 88

I rarely see them around and saw something similiar new badged as IVECO. You see something similiar on the news about Italians in Afghanistan

Anyone have an opinion/info on these. Wouldnt toouch in the UK for parts and labour reasons. However this vehicle is classic registered which is hard to accomplish in itself and reduces cost of ownership substantially.

I will answer my own question.

A friend said it was a Campagnolo and laughed his head off

I've never seen one before. Anyone else got any experience of them to help out here?

Yup a longer hard top version of the cream one. Crime against humanity by all accounts. I also spotted an Alfa of all things, slightly older, even more Landrover like and apparently pretty decent.
