Well its been a busy few weeks. Mrs wizards Freelander went for its mot a couple of weeks ago.
failed on excessivly coroded rear brake pipes and excessive emissions.
I stopped at Bearmach on the way home and bought two new pipes and a new air filter.
when i came to replace the "excessivly coroded" pipes I couldnt see anything wrong with them, just covered in underseal.... so changed them anyway and banged in the new filter. Job done its a pass.
Thats the only thing I have done to that car since last years MOT :D
Last Thursday her Range Rover went for its MOT. Failed on a few bits of welding, number plate light not working, hand brake a bit slack and.........."excessivly coroded" rear brake pipes.
I did the welding etc on Friday and checked the "excessivly coroded" pipes before going to buy new ones. Guess what not a thing wrong with them. I cleaned them up with some white spirit so they were nice and shiny.
Took it back today and its a pass
The Disco is up for the dreaded at the end of the month, I spent yesterday welding body mounts and replaced the off side inner wing.
Still got a bit to do on the rear of the chassis then its ready.
I bet it fails on excessivly coroded rear brake pipes....
