Light switch

Hi
Can anyone tell me what wires go where on a Series 3 light switch?
The lights themselves work OK, but the dashlights come on with the sidelights, but go off when you go to dip/main. Got to be a wire in the wrong place...

Oooh! Never thought of that! There's only one spare term, & if I connect to that, the dash lights are on while the lights are off, and off when any of the lights are on.

should be the terminal on the top of the switch, the same one as side lights from what I remember. Do your side lights go out with dip/main too?

Sorted. The feed from the main light switch to the dashlight switch was knackered AND in the wrong place. Note to self: always make sure the dashlight switch is in the ON position when tinkering...
