Very impressed by the Range Rover - flat out for certain sections where it was totally legal

Odd we didn't see any other Solihull products

Warsaw was very different, and Polish weddings.....

It was good to see my brother in law do the whole service in Polish  :D

Hi,

Polish weddings - we went to one in 1986 before the wall came down.

That was the last time Geoff drank spirits - he got so seriously drunk on neat polish vodka to the extent that i thought he might need hospitalisation three days later!  He has not touched any spirits since!  His problem was that he could not speak polish and so found it difficult to refuse drinks - i just told them i was driving, and my sneaky father had a bottle of lemonade hidden so that he kept topping up his glass with that rather than the vodka!  my polish cousin however was in as bad a state as geoff - his wife was really nice to geoff but horrible to him for allowing geoff to get so drunk!

Poland has changed a lot since those days !

regards

ela
Sonar - DII V8 now become a toy
Pugsley (peugeot 407) now sitting dead in a garage workshop, being replaced by Yeti the kia carens!
Bagheera - geoff's new(ish) car - a black jaguar!
love is....a husband who is prepared to put petrol in his wife's V8 without flinching - now has admitted to flinching occasionally
