It may mate, I found that my V6 LPG Shogun struggles to get enough air through the snorkel at high revs.

If the snorkel is so restrictive as to lose power, it'll do it for any fuel.

It will most likely require the LPG setting up properly again.  'Properly' in my book means on an exhaust analyser, if its not a lambda-controlled system.   Once its set up right, it will work as before.

If the snorkel has one of those silly 'scoop' tops, turn it round so that its not scooping anything.  That would cause mixer type LPG systems to stall on the overrun, the last thing you need is any added ram-air effect.  The added benefit is not getting rain, dust, debris down its throat.  They are the most useless idea.

I wouldn't fit a snorkle to it.

Regardless of the engine performance issues and getting spark ignition to work under water. Deep wading is something that doesn't appeal to me, due to all the hassels i can't see the point in it for recreational off roading except for laughing at people with snorkles after they get stuck in deep water with the driver soaked from the chest down and looking rather emabraised.

I'd agree, once you risk getting the chassis wet you also riak washing out the wheel bearings amongst other things.

That said, Snokels, a year or so a go we ran an experiment to debunk this ram-air rhubarb.  In short the losses caused by the restriction due to the extra lengthof pipe outweigh any "ram air" by a factor of more than 10:1.

Your issue is that the snorkel will have the same effect as a badly dirty air filter.

What I did with mine was to fit the snokel to the side of the airbox and blank the inlet pipe off, so I only fit the blanking plate when I need it and for the shortest time, it runs fine on Petrol being an EFi.
