90 rear axle to tie bar bracket problem
«

Just had a great weekend at KORC for the total off road event apart from pulling the o/s tie bar of the axle. Managed to get a bit of weld on the bracket that was left to keep me going but the repair didnt look big or clever. Does anyone know if a replacement bracket heavy duty or otherwise is available to weld on when i grind the old bits off, or will i have to fabricate some plate??

Paddocks do them, need to gring everything off after taking necessary measurements to get it back on in the right place. If not completely sure of your welding take it somewhere we don't need another Gresh type accident

I saw them at Donnington so if the axle tube isn't damaged or excessively corroded then you can repair it. You need to check ever so carfully that it goes back in exactly the right place.

If you going to drive the car on the road?, and one bit has already snapped of the axle maybe you would be better off with a good second hand axle case?
