My Dad had a 3500 Vitesse Rover  :D
We always laugh about its demise though....It caught fire just outside the Chubb fire building in Sunbury and they didn't have any extinguishers handy

Great car is a little melted

I've owned a couple of SD1's, though not a Vitesse unfortunately  :(

Dad used to be a Cortina man..... had a Mk1 1500, a Mk1 Lotus (technically a Consul), a mk2 1600 and a Mk3 1600 marshmallow. The last one was the softest, worst handling thing I've ever driven. Dreadful contraption!

I had a SD1 just like that with the front and rear spoiler. The engine was rather different though  ;)
