Indicator issues on a defender
« on: September 01, 2009, 19:38:51 »
Hi,

My indicators are playing up. all work OK on Hazard switch. When I use the left or Right indicators they blink at double speed.

All lights work OK, so Earths are OK - to make sure I ran a new earth to both sides

The relay is brand new - but again they all work ok with Hazards

Is it me ?? Got my retest in a couple of days - Any advice welcomed !

I have had the same problem but it started when i replaced the indicators to led which use less power so i had to put a resistor on each lamp to sort the problem.

Finally cracked it !

My new Flasher relay is Faulty - Bought another one, this time from a reputable Land Rover Garage - Rogers of Bedford and all is now OK.

This was starting to pee me off !!
