Hi All,As someone who is thinking of getting a 4x4 namely a Landrover Discovery(but open to suggestions) i thought i had better try and find out something about off roading :D.I am on a limited budget (girlfriends not keen ! :roll:) so am looking on ebay :lol:.I am situated in south east Kent.cheers Dave

Hello and welcome.
My advice would be...
Go buy a rust free Discovery, loads about fairly cheap...
Fit some all terrains/mud terrain tyres...
Join your local club....
Go with them green laning or to a pay and play...
Get addicted to the hobby/modifying your vehicle...
Live happily ever after

Thanks guys :D.Unfortunately i have been told by my gf that i will have to wait to get a 4x4,as she holds the purse strings and my work may be laying people off too :(,however i will still be lurking around picking up info for when i need it :D
