Pay them in washers ..... YES PLEASE
« on: September 08, 2009, 15:46:05 »
I looked at buying some 10mm flat washers on e bay last night, so i found this supplier
10mm washers and after looking at their listing and the price wondered how many 10mm flat bzp washers you get for £5.37 as there are no quantities on the listing.
I duly dispatched my query and had the following reply.

Dear Gerard,

The item comes with the pack of 15 only.

Thanks for the query.

Kind Regards,
Emma

I emailed them again just to be sure and had the following reply

Dear Gerard,

That's affirmative. If you are interested to
purchase the item then please place your order
now. Please do ask for any further query.

Kind regards,
Emma

The place we use has a policy of a minimum of £1 per line on the invoice when we needed 25 m5 washers we could either pay £1 minimum or take the washers to the value of £1......... 2,300 of them

Sorry but that is being tight  :?, I would rather spend the extra 90p than have to mess about drilling them

Drill away
if it was still enforced those 2p machines that print and bend a 2p piece would be banned (like they have at blackpool tower)

If coke-cola or *insert major advertising brand here* started stamping their logo's over our coins and bank notes then I think the relevant laws would kick in rather sharpish.

when  i stamped/ rolled a 2p at big bit last month , there was a sign telling you that the law had changed in 97? and that it was no longer illegal.
