After the birthday bash i am having trouble keeping my bonnet closed, it seems a bit bent (people who were there might know why :oops: :oops:) so i have got some bonnet pins :clap: but am wondering the best position to put them  :-k any one got any ideas.
discovery 300tdi --- name-Rufus
broke it so put 1 1/2" lift on
broke it so put 265/75/16 grizzley claws on
broke it so put KnN filter in
broke it so put hyclone in
broke it so put wheel spacers on
broke it so put kenlowe on
broke it so put tubular winch bumper on
broke it so put snorkel on
broke it so put chequer plate on
broke it so put a 12000lb winch on
broke it so put a roof rack on

Were you in the blue 90 that did a dramatic sideways bounce in the video....?   :-k

Wish I'd been there... still trying to figure out what happened...!   8-[ :-$ :doh: :clap:

Bonnet pins should be a Halfords job... Though I got mine at Douglass Motors in Wolston, Warwickshire. Try online... Paddocks etc should have them.

I welded two bits of flat plate to the slam panel about an inch or so from the edge of the bonnet.

This is how my old ones were on the front end that we rearranged in France!

i mounted mine where the rubber bumpers are for the bonnet i found you coule just about get the nut between the top dome and the bottom part of the slam panel and made it a captive nut i dont have any pictures though and have since chopped the whole front off :)

I got mine on fleebay, only thing i would look out for though, is the length (ooh err) as mine are bolted right at there limit. Mine are bolted through either side of the Rad and intercooler, just to the front a bit, with extra plates inderneath to give a bit extra strength. I can get you a picture later if it helps?
