cooling problem?
« on: September 22, 2009, 19:15:22 »
Hi all, as the evenings are getting cooler i thought i would add some antifreeze to my 300tdi truck cab, also added a thermostat, which it didnt have at all previuosly,
So far so good  filled up coolont plugs removed ect, run it up, all good heater blowing hot air, BUT the coolont tank is stone cold still, had it runing for over 2 hours and a 10 mile drive round town and dual carrigeways, temp guage just sat half way ( as norm)  checked when i got home, still cold,
I would of thought if it were a air lock after all that running something would have shown up ?

Am i just paranoid  8-[

P.S       Its a full blown winch comp truck so only goes out every few weeks to play  :)
