Have a small problem

I have a 300tdi with a r38 box which keeps jumping out of low range diff lock, its now that bad that i have to hold the leaver to keep it in.I have been told that it is down to adjustment but i am not sure what to adjust, can you help?

If you take the middle seat base out and remove the middle seat box cover, and wiggle the hi/low stick you will see the linkage there. It has two 13mm nuts on a threaded bar  before it is pinned to the transfer box selector. Those nuts I believe form the adjustment.

Correct, you'll need to effectivley lengthen the rod thus giving more movement at the selector shaft end.
