Headlight conversion
« on: October 08, 2009, 12:41:57 »
Am about to buy another Disco as I miss my old one so much, I prefer 300tdi Disco's but as money is a bit short I might have to get a 200tdi instead, dont mind that as basically the same!

however, I dont like the front of the 200tdi, how easy a job is it to change the headlights to 300tdi?

What do i need other that teh headlights & indicators??

thanks

Jim

lol, if your after a cheep disco 1 one make sure you enjoy welding alot! or be prepared to brake it at the next mot.

there are some bargains to be had, 200 and 300's just don't buy rust with nice shiny skin.

look at how this tread goes id be surprise if he got £500

i facelifted my 200tdi. its really easy i just made up brackets and used a club hammer to make enough room to fit the new headlights and the indicators just pop in
