A small further question... do you have to cut the section of loom for electric mirrors as theres not enough loose wire to get the frame up high enough? Currently trying to do this with is lashing down and a foot in plaster... bloomin MOT's!!!!!

There's a plug on the mirror wiring Dave, it should be within a couple of inches of the mirror, might be trapped in the top of the door.

Found that one.... but its too big for the whole....

I think, from what I can remember, pull it up as far as it can go then unplug it insitu - the plug will come out then letting the window frame lift up and out
