If the forum administrator alows you can upload attachments to posts.  Might be worth speaking to them.

Or you can always upload them to some service like rapidshare and post links. Or if it's likely to be popular, Bittorrent it.

When you go to 'create a new topic' you can add attachments.

The list of attachments refers to .doc... surely this would be a standard Word doc???  Do you have a posh new version of Word - if so, I think it saves automatically as a newer extension, ie .docx and us mere mortals on steam driven stuff can't open this sort of document!

If this is the case, you will need to do 'save as' and force it to save a version with the older .doc extension and you should be able to attach this to a standard post.

If not, I see that it also accepts .pdf files so you could try converting to PDF format (cutePDF writer or similar, free on Google).

Hope this helps.

You need to go to the posting > attachments section of the administrative control panel

add .doc as a recognised file extension and enable it. It's a bit of a fiddle to do your first one, but once your sorted it's quite straight forward enabling other file extensions.

It's nothing to do with the file extension used when saving.
