« on: November 01, 2009, 10:08:38 »
hi guys ive got a petrol 110 csw shell and 2 discos, got a good 200tdi with a good r380 on . i know that its a bit more difficult than a td change  but how much and whats needed, also if i use the disco box i know i will have to fabricate the tunnel im not worried about loseing center seat. but what prop shafrts do you use. if its to much hasle i will get a defender lt77 but i have been told the r380 is a stronger box.  i know most of this has been asked before but cant find it cherrs   jo

I would get a defender LT77 box tbh.  The bell housing is longer on the disco LT77 and so wont fit.  Think the R380 would be the same, the bell housing too long, would put the gearstick and hi low stick in the centre seat space! lol

u can use the r380 box then u will need a 300 seat box an transmission tunnel an a 110 300 back prop think front one is same size all it will mean is the engine will sit further forward it would be alot easier gettin defender lt77 box an some td engine mounts that way u wont have to re weld engine chassis mounts then
