Is it easy to replace the rubber inner door  seal on a disco 1( driver side)?
Do I simply remove the old one and slip the new one, on or is sealant needed to fix the new rubber in place any suggestions appreciated.

Not difficult at all.  Just pull the old one off and the new one fits in its place.

You don't need any special glues or sealant

Did my drivers door one last year, 10 minute job max.

Pull the old one off and replace with the new. Best to start in a corner I found and tapped it lightly all the way around with a hammer.
