hay guys
just a qucik one. What size etc spark plugs do i need for my 1987 3.5 EFI and also which are the best....
Ow while im at it what the best HT leads to get (also most water ressistant if such a thing)

Can't help witht he spark plug numbers (Range Rover Blues is yer man for that!), however, I ran Magnecor leads and whilst they are possibly THE most expensive, they certainly did the job for me.
That and some chains wax to provide some waterproofing (along with a 2l plastic bottle bottom as a shower cap for the dizzi, the top half useful as a splash gaurd for the coil).

You can fit BP
R
6ES but they are resisted and if you run gas then the unresisted (unsurpressed) plugs provide a tad more punch.
DO NOT fit chumpion
Do NOT fit any type of PLATINUM plug if you run LPG
I can recomend the BPR6E
I
S iridium plugs but at £8 a plug :shock:
I pay about £45 a box of 8 though and once fitted they last years.

They have a bad reputation for being a bit cheapo and unreliable, which is odd becasue they have the opposite reputation in classic Fords. Also they are less tolerant of heat ranges than the NGK IIRC.
But hey, if it runs it runs :)

and that she do. she ran perfectly on its first proper test drive since changing spark, ht, dizzy cap and rotor arm... not a caugh YAY!
