retro adverts on TV
« on: December 04, 2009, 19:59:56 »
Loving all the recycling of old tv ads that keep cropping up.
I seen today Lego have brought back their ad from the early 80s titled 'Kipper'.

Wondering how many of the younger members never remember the original let alone know who the voice over is supposed to be (think it's an impression anyway )

Milky Way are using an ad from when i was 17.  It was a bit of a gag back then as i had a blue Ford Escort and my mate Nick had a old red Vauxhall Veva so the blue car and red car having a race became a bit of a theme tune, especially as his old car was really slow

YEP, iv seen a few. Very good idea to reduce costs and play on the established product/retro angle.
