Online gaming

Just out of interest, does anyone play any online games mainly on a PC and if any, what games you play?
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, then reverse over it...

I used to be PC online gamer - halflife mostly and it's mods right back to TFC classic then later day of defeat, dod2 and used to admin a few HL servers (not just in-game admin but the servers themselves), World of warcraft, American Army, medal of honor, battlefield 1942 and it's mods, later dod2 and tf2.  Lost interest in *working* on desktop PC and decided not to upgrade the machines so gaming suffered too as I switched to just being a 'user' on a laptop. So being into video games all my life the solution was to get a console - xbox360 fitted the bill and satisfies the needs. It hurt leaving the keyboard mouse combo for a game pad and I miss not playing along side folks I have known in gaming world (and never met!) for over a decade.

I used to game medal of honour allied assault or MOHAA as it was more widely known. I played clean for over a year and then got into writing my own hacks for it. They played as a 'hacker' in a clan for a loong long time. Good times. I miss them. But one grown up and then owning a land rover one tends to spend more time on that

I used to be online quite a bit back in the day mostly with Delta force and all it's offspring also americas army. But now my laptops have fallen too far behind for gaming.

I do still indulge with the kids Wii and often play on Call of Duty World at War. I don't have any in game friends though  So if anyone else is on the Wii CODWAW my friend code is 498387756437 (please be my fwiend  [-o<)

cheating git! lol I used to convert the counterstrike hacks for use under Team fortress classic. Ditched the aimbot code but keep the ESP style wallhack, code a radar,   add a load of game specific hacks like auto exploding ammo dispensers when an enemy came near. Am not a C programmer so was a learning experience and it give you some working knowledge of the games engine which helps with legit things like game mods, scripting also a healthy dose of vector mathmatics. Had to rely on other peoples code to circumvent the Valves anti cheat mechanisms at the time but even then learned a fair bit about process and memory injection which was useful techniques to learn for other things like software cracking/patching.
