What colour??
« on: December 14, 2009, 17:04:59 »
Well i wanna paint the 110 as its currently a few different colours, but i cant decide what colour!!

Price isnt a worry as the paint is being given, but i can have any colour i desire!

So far the only 3 i have thought would look good are:

Bronze Green
Black
White

So as you can see, its not doing well!

I did toy with G4 Orange but dont know if i could get away with it with it being hand painted!

Any suggestions??

pearlescent Epsom Green, as per CSW schemes. It's very dark and often mistaken for black and a bit nicer then the bronze green which belongs on Series! But your hand painting and that sandfire camel trophey colour is what I like.

Nah, unfortunately i am not really into the sandy type colours.

I want to try and keep it as something thats normal, so similar to Land Rover colours.

I cant find what the other greens are that they did, for the defender that is, as i like a lighter green, but not as light as the heritage!

Roll and tip it, you'll get a near spray finish, so use G4 orange ;)

Good quality roller and an exceptional quality brush (like a £20 brush). There's loads of how too's on youtube and the rest of the internet.

What about Royal Mail/ Post office red.
Done that too my Rangey last year, and it looks not bad.
Since you've a Defender, add black Daktari/Zebra/Tiger stripes.
It'll certainly stand out.
