« on: December 19, 2009, 07:32:24 »
I just got a Td5 for work use and its previous owner was mad on dogs so it stinks,But it was cheap so i power washed it out and now its real good but when i put the blower on it stinks of dog ..Is there a filter or some way to clean it , i even thought about pouring cleaning fluid down the windscreen vents but i anit sure if this will damage it

There is a product available from most motor factors where basicly you set the fans blowing on recirculating air let this comprressed canister off inside the car and leave for 10 mins or so, i understand you cant recycle the air on a 90 so why not spray it in through the heater intake ??  We did it on wifeys freelander and works a treat, smells a bit menthol, but definately  worth a go,
I think its mainly meant for aircon systems but cant see why it could not be adapted ??  Have fun

Nno need if you have recirculation option, otherwise you could spray it from the heater inake on the wing ?
