If one side sticks out what ever wheel you put on,then your bushes on your rear axles are bushed! Making the axle pull to that side.

but if the bushes have gone wouldnt it move from side to side rather than just one side sticking out just a thought and when fitting a new axle do you have to line it up or is it just bolt it all back together if this makes any sense  as thats what i did when i replaced the axle

i would start buy measuring from the outer edge of the rim to the plate with the holes in on both.

The size inc' "j" will normal be marked on the wheel normal the side that faces the car.

You stated in your first post you had swapped your wheels around with the same problem,so i suggest you check your wheels, check your tyres, measure the amount of axle that pertrudes out each side and try again. Your axle could be bent? your shell / chassis could be twisted?

Check the a frame on top af the axle as thats what centers the axle mate. A mate had a similar problem on a 90, swaped the a frame and it sorted it.
