Hi All
I'm looking at a 1999 Discovery TD5 ES on ebay that is listed with a faulty alarm.
The seller says that when the Alarm is switched on the Car battery goes flat. If the Alarm is not set then it holds it charge. He says there was a water leak under the passenger side glove box onto the BCU but he got that all fixed.
Anyone had any faults like this, do you think that the BCU needs replacing and if so is it easy to do and what cost is the BCU. and does the new BCU need programming to the car? I have access to a nanocom if thats the case.
thanks for any advice
Brian
