Yeap, WEBASTO, you can get modules with timers, remote controls etc, they run from the "spill" line on your engine so every time the engine runs they refill.

you could also get a mains heater, cheaper but less flexible.

The timer unit on the Webasto can be wired up tot he blower motor too for a nice clear windscreen.

na got runlock fitted (same thing as on recovery trucks and fire engines) start it with the key press a button and remove the key leave it runnin if someone gets in and tryes to drive off it kills the engine as soon as the gear leaver is moved out of park or the hand break took off or the foot break pressed handy really put that on last year when i heard if u lock it with the key in insurance is void

Just remeber that it's illegal to leave a running vehicle with no one in it on the highway ;)

Agreed - I know for a fact.

I stopped at a mate's hose, left the motor running and walked down the drive. A few minutes later, a passing copper "explained" the situation to me.

Emergency Service's can leave the engine running and claim exemption under the road traffic Act!!
