« on: January 04, 2010, 22:52:01 »

sorry only just spotted the tyre fitting guide at the top of this page.
can someone tell me what a 2% increase in speedo will read over normal or should i not worry

                                                          thanks Roy

The few LR I know about read fast anyway, by up to 10%
Blue,  1988  Range Rover 3.5 EFi with plenty of toys bolted on
Chuggaboom, 1995 Range Rover Classic
1995 Range Rover Classic Vogue LSE with 5 big sticks of Blackpool rock under the bonnet.

                                                          thanks Roy

I run mine on 245-75-16 and the speed and speedo reading are accurate with a satnav on all of the speed range
1. Range Rover Classic 300tdi SE Auto Softdash
2. Range Rover Classic 300tdi SE Auto Softdash, apparently very rare.

i have 265/75/16's on and the speedo reads around 5mph faster than the sat nav at 50mph..... so it reads 10% faster than the actual speed according to the sat nav.

it feels great to be doin nearly 80mph!!!!
