So Who has the best 4x4 and lives near BB4?

Think you could pull me out of this?
Snow is 8-10" deep and sits ontop of approx 2" solid ice from pre christmas snow.
Already had a cherokee and Delica tied togther pulling it, but there is almost no traction at all.
Road is about 50meters and slightly uphill from where I am. ( The car in front of the caravan).
Any help more than welcome - prize fund of a few cans of whatever you want for whoever can get me out!
Need to be out in the next couple of days at the latest!

Try asking on the unimog section of difflock, or what about a local farmer?

Get your hands on some snow chains, that should get you out.

or get a shovel and some salt/grit and dig your way out. cost too much for me and the rangie to get up to you. a foot is nothing with the right tyres on.

Have you tried unhitching the caravan?
Seiously though, if you cant get a tow then you need.
Snow Shovel, Mars Bars/Flask of coffee, Foot pump/compressor, Grit if poss, old curtains/sack/dust sheet.
Start digging, clear a path down to the tarmac if poss, with a snow shovel and maybe a metal one as well to chip ice. Wont be has hard as you might think as snow is light .
Grit that path if you have any grit
Clear all the snow off the car, make sure you plan where you stop at the end (car park exit on the flat).
Drop the tyres to 20psi ish
Stick the sheet/sack/dust sheet under the drive tyres.
Drive of carefully (poss second gear)
Yuu may need to rock the car in the snow to get grip or even back it up onto the sacks if it is slightly down hill.
Then at your stopping point (which you git) pump your tires back up and off you toddle.

Looks like a 'van site though, go fine a local farmer, slip him a couple of quid, hitch up and get pulled straight out with a tractor.
You get paid what £20 an hour? It'll take you 2 hours to get out without your caravan (if that's yours behind) so it's worth at least £40 to get someone else to pull you out in 2 minutes.

No its not my caravan. Also, its a cobbled pub car park.
I think 4x4response are coming in the next couple of hours, so should hopefully be free soon!
