In other news - how many dead badger can one road have in about 2 mile stretch??? On the b3098 between Edington and Erlestoke I counted 7 dead badger.

I always find it very odd that I see plenty of dead badgers on the roads, but I've never seen a live one near the roads...

PLenty of sets up on the ridge and in the woods above road there and wondering if MOD activity has anything to do with it. The MOD dig in and set up OP and ambush point right up the top, these things happen at night. They usually replace the turf but I seen a couple still intact so it was recent mock combat.  Wondering if badgers are out of set and suddenly bunch of automatic fire, flares and such like would make them run for it rather than going back to the set. If they reach the road its steep banked each side so they would find themselves trapped wandering in a tunnel like stretch of road. That if they where all killed in one night, I have not been travelling that road much lately so dunno when they appeared.
