having trouble finding out  what wire does what  are military looms different to civy ones? can anyone help?

Cant help much as I dont have a mil wire diagram, and I only now have wolfs, but es civvie loom is quite alot different to mili looms. Get onto www.emlra.org, register on the forum and ask away, some on there will have the diagrams and will give you the awnsers.......

The lights arwe wired differently for a start, convoy lights, headlights only, sidelights, sidelights and headlights etc etc.  then if it was fitted for radio everything had to be screened.  The componenets are a little bit better too, not sure if they even used the same colours for stuff.

what happend was somewere in the loom the wires were chafing and caused the plastic coating to melt and stick to getther! so  when it started i couldnt switch it off on the key! i have rewired it back to the way it was  but i have had to run a wire to stop solinoid! but dont know if it may be a relay or something sticking on?
