Whenever the traction control comes on, on my Disco 2 it seems to make a lot of noise....is this normal? everything seems to be working fine as we have been playing in the snow and have not got stuck yet. Any advice would be appreciated

Traction control is noisy. Basically it is using the brakes to lock on the wheels to stop wheel spin. Kind of the opposite of ABS!

the same sensation and noise can be felt though the brake pedal if you place you foot on it when starting up, it's the ecu going through it's ABS and TC start up test.
