Leaking injector
« on: January 27, 2010, 00:12:33 »
My no. 1 injector is leaking diesel (200tdi) from the bolt that holds the 'spider' to the side of the injector, I accidently snapped the bolt (well they are hollow !!) when I was doing the head a few weekends ago, anyway, I got a new replacement from a local independant LR parts supplier and fitted it, but it's pants.

Typical of a patten part, but hey guess what, my LR dealer (parts dept) don't sell the bolt without the whole injector ......... no thanks matey.

So, I'm on the ponce...................anyone got a spare that your willing to part with ?

only this Disco has been off the road since before Christmas and that means I missed playing in the snow, so now it's getting silly so I need to get this done.

All I need then is front springs and I'm away.

Cheers all
Gary.
it's a mud thing............you wouldn't understand !!

Try a hydraulic parts supplier, I think you are talking about the banjo bolt.
