what to buy defender tdi or td5 110 or 90

the time has come that after 6 years my 300tdi xs disco thats now done 160k will be replaced se=hes still going strong but fancy a defender i went to buy a 90 last time and came back with the disco lol due to cost.
so what to buy choices iv give myself are tidy 300tdi 90csw or 110csw with under 100k miles for a max of £6k or less
or a 90 td5 around 50k miles and a bit more brass or get what iv always wanted a 110 crew cab but thay are td5 but there seem to be loads of td5`s for sale at 100k miles and over sometimes under with engine problems and to be honist i hate td5`s but id like the newist i can aford
anyway good tdi or a td5? i never use garages can fix anything on a tdi but not td5`s and i like to keep things more than 5 mins  any advice? or do i just get a td5 disco lol but auto as thats the only td5 thing iv driven and liked the suto box seems to go well with the td5

how do u rate the td5 have you had any engine problems and whats it like on fuel? all the people i know say thay drink too much?

90 200/300 tdi csw for sure homie. Well it depends on how much room you need etc but im just peachy with mine.
The tdi engines are fantastic for working on but arent as tuneable as the td5 also the more you mod under the bonnet the less reliable it can be. I have been told parts and servicing are costly too but thats just the advice I was given. The td5 lump does sound nice though.
