Having owned my first Discovery now since mid December i would like to take this opportunity to thank the local vandels of Nottingham who, without any request from myself, took it upon them selves to remove my passanger side window and place it in a thousand pieces all over the inside of my car with just a small lump of concrete!

I cant understand the mentallity of these 'people' who broke into my car and failed to take anything!! Leaving me stood with autoglass fitting a new door window at 4.00 this morning and a £50 excess.

Thanks

Stringing 'em up is sometimes too good for some people

We are currently at the centre of a vendetta thanks to one little 11 year toe rag who is jealous of my eldest because he has a Dad who actually lives in the same house.

I can honestly understand what drives people to getting a gun and going out on a killing spree.

I dont know what annoys me the most, the fact they only did half a job by breaking in and failing to take anything, or the fact that the missile they used to gain entry rebounded of the leather steering wheel into the back seat leaving a nice gash in it (the wheel that is!!!)

Isn't there some sort of sticky plastic film that you can have stuck to the inside of the glass, a bit like tinting film, except that it makes the glass 'anti-smashable'..........so it goes like this:

Little scrote, with rock in hand walks up to your beloved truck, gives it his best shot and launches aforementioned rock at your side window. OK, the glass may crack or shatter, but it should not cave right in - and with any luck the rock rebounds and gets the little sod right between the eyes !!!!

Harsh I know - but serves the little oik right........

Ive already looked at this today! I work on MOD sites in property management and we use a blast film on all airfield building windows to give total blast protection, (its also pretty effective agains drunk squadies who sometimes participate in the sport of window kicking) so if it can handle the squadies im sure it would work on the motor!

may have a scout around to see if i can find a roll!!!

F**kers!!!
I know how you feel.
I had a similar event a few months back.
Came out one morning to find pass window smashed and a small rock on seat, nothing taken!!
Looked like it was launched over the fence from the local park and by chance ( ) hit my window. Nothing has happened since and i pressume that it was just a chance hit from a long throw!!!

Great shot you little b***ard!!!!

I got two tyres slashed on the Disco a few months back along with about 20 other cars in the village . We know who did it and we even have them on camera doing it but the cops say the film isn't clear enough to see who it is . Funny when we played it in all the pubs in the village everybody who saw it new who they were  Turns out their excuse was they were only slashing the tyres of English people living here the odd thing is half the cars belonged to welsh people   Big mistake

if the whole village got targetted, and they know who it was, I'd definately recomend the whole village getting together, drawing straws and one person gets to batter the little toe rag.

That way no-one in the village knows who got the revenge and the police will not be able to work it out, too many suspects!!

As for anti shatter glass, sounds great, until you get involved in an accident and can't get out of your burning/sinking/crushed car.....

 Definatley with out a dout bring back National Service, and the Birch for that matter... but sadly its been too long now and will never come back due to the goodie goodie brigade. Im not condoneing smacking kids or anything like that but some sort of corporal punnishment wouldnt go a miss. Bring back Borstal for young affenders or comunity service that acctually means doing a community a service.
If in first you dont suceed, try second....
If it aint broke, your not trying ard enough....

Regards MIKE.

I think some kids deserve borstal and national service. Working for the RAF has certainly opened my eyes to military discipline and they say the RAF arent as hard as the army or navy!!

Oh well got the damage fixed on my motor, and decided not to pay out the £250 for the damaged steering wheel and just live with it.

Unfortunatly these two toe rags (like the name ) get battered every weekend and they look at it as a good night out if you have a punch up .

No violence is not the way [-X

Hitting them dosen't hurt half as much as hitting their bank balance
and also an Astra van won't run with 56lb of spuds rammed up the exhaust pipe so the thing won't start for work

I've also heard that if you get some of that expanding foam stuff you see window fitters using and add a length of tube to the nozzel you can fill an exhaust all the way to the headers

Not that I would   :^o
