Hi - when I was getting a recon transfer box fitted I asked the guys to fit a DiscoParts CDL kit for me. I bought a 2nd hand kit off a guy on one of the forums a few years ago    and never got round to fitting it

They have done it but the solenoid will not push (pull?) the spigot all the way to engage the diff lock! They are hoping that as the T-Box is basically brand new that maybe it is a little stiff and that with a bit of use that it may ease in to functioning properly. They were able to get it working by adding a gentle push with the mechanism turned on and then it would hold the lock in place.

The adjustment seems very fine between having enough bar for the magnetic field to work on and having a long enough bar externally to enable enough rotation of the spigot for full locking.

Does anyone have experience with this? - I heard Discoparts went out of business... Is the guy still around? (Mark was it?) I have a copy of the instructions in pdf format - but they haven't quite answered all the questions...

Cheers

Mick
