Right here goes, got rid of four year old daughter to Grandma's three doors away, 16 year olds dad was down from Glasgow, he didnt want to be bothered going to his nans to see him...£5 bride sorted that so he was out for the night  ;)

We where going on a last minute meal to Liverpool, I had a favour to run for my uncle, got back late, no time to get 40 minutes into Liverpool plus 20 minute taxi wait, so I say, Ill get a meal and some booze.........went well, she nags me about something silly so I get a mood but let it go, we have meal and wine, then I have some more beers, she wants to watch La Bamba  so I sit through that, she has had bottle and half of wine, she falls asleep
I have two bottles of Moet  should I or shouldnt I drink them? as Ive had a money result tonight  then buy some more tomorrow  :-k

Well Ive had more romantic nights in degreasing an oil sump

She can sod off on Sunday, she has had her chance  oh and Im marrying her in May

Come on, you should know by now. Men can't do anything right. If you make an effort on the 14th Feb, or her birthday, etc, all you get is "Why can't you be like this the rest of the year?"

Easy way out is to get deployed over seas, bit excessive but does work. Even the most basic present is liked - you can do no wrong!

Well until you get back, then your fair game again.

It all passed by without a mention of it from either of us. Mind you, in our household, the same happens on our wedding anniversary too  We only remember when a card or two arrive on the doormat from relatives
