Where do you fit the damper to and what damper are people using?
the damper goes from the nearside chassis rail/dumbiron area to the long draglink (has a mount on the draglink to accept it and if needs be you can buy the chassis mount) ...
i keep thinking of using my old disco damper that i have laying around, but they aren't expensive from that well known auction site...
i haven't bothered for the last 12 months tho and this is my daily driver, if driven often enough and your steering is in "good" condition i don't believe you actually need them except "possibly" to protect you from the steering whip if you clip something that tries to pull the wheel suddenly, my steering more or less self centres quite nicely, is light when on the move and not too heavy when manouvering...
i run rough old tyres when going out in the dirt and a nice set of General SAG's for road use or gentle (ish) greenlaning
