Had to fit a new snorkle so made up this one in stainless.

Can't decide if I like it though, what do you think

i think it looks smart, have you thought about sticking a filter on it? im not sure whether it would look better or not, because it looks great as it is.

Not a filter, But did put a wire mesh inside to stop it sucking in big things,

Not a filter, But did put a wire mesh inside to stop it sucking in big things,
in that case, i'd leave it as it is because it looks ace!

hard to see from a single angle photo ...but what would happen if pushed up against the usual greenlane low branch? Looks like the extra length might be quite a lever that could put too large a force on the mounts. In same low branch situation would that SS section rotate and smack against the windscreen?

in other snorkel news: I cleaned my safari out the other day - out came the fly and leaf treacle, no dead chick this time.

It is of the height that if it were to twist round it would hit the top of the windscreen metal not the glass, Im guessing its a suck it n see thing ? i can always make MK3

We run a very similar set up on the winch comp truck, That lasted a whole season ok ( ish) Bit battered but still working,

May be tempted to bond a rubber mounting/bung to the back edge of the horizontal section to rest against the roof line, that may adress the twisting issue  :-k

Need a good auto jumble to root round to source a suitable bit
