Land Rover orphanage?
« on: March 05, 2010, 21:14:45 »
Not sure if this is in the right place but does anyone know if te Land Rover Orphange in Bristol is still trading? I've been waiting for a delivery several weeks and no-ones answering emails, the online shop is offline and the phones been cut off.

When I was there just before the move the owner was getting ready for an Arctic expedition (iceland?) in a 110, wondering how that went.

Right- pretty damning. I used them once before and it was slow but ultimately OK, won't be doing so again! Next stop trading standards! It wasn't a lot of cash but people need to be professional about this kinda stuff. It's all very well dealing with enthusiasts but I would have settled for someone who didn't care about Landies but did know how to run a business properly.

Anyone know where else I can get gaskets? Paddocks didn't have the ones I wanted.

cheers

Alan

The denoument: Land rover orphanage never actually took the funds from my credit card, so they must have gone bust or somesuch.

LR-series on the other hand- Ordered on Sunday, received on Tuesday! Fast, efficient and thoroughly recommneded.

Now in the middle of servicing my master cylinders.

cheers
