springs n spring rates
« on: April 17, 2005, 16:27:16 »
hello people, just fitted lhd rangie springs(red/yellow) to my 90 comp motor on the back for now(doing fronts later in the week)
its lifted the motor roughly 1 1/2 inchs so now there is bout 6 inchs or 150mm between the axle & the bumpstops,i worked out that the spring rating is roughly 150 lb/ft(i think) & the motor weighs 1900kg ish,
can any 1 work out if the springs are close enough for the motor as any other springs ive used have been either to soft or too stiff,
if not any suggestions on spring please?
Mike
