 The real way to sell these to the public is to claim they are only available to thorough bred people and that the likes of pikey boy will be disadvantaged by not having one. Then Barry Normal will get upset for not being allowed to carry one and cause a Government "relent"and finally be allowed to carry ID :lol:

It will be a cold day in hell the day I have one of these ID cards!

I've held an ID card much of my life, starting in the Armed Forces working through to the Coastguard Rescue Service and of course my driving licence!! Why should I pay the Government lots of money to have one with all my personal/financial details on it and held by some Government quango that couldn't keep what they had for breakfast secret!!

An ID card should be just that, Picture, Name, Age, Sex (for those that its difficult to see which they are!!) Nothing more!
