gearbox whine following clutch change
« on: March 25, 2010, 20:46:41 »
ive just had the clutch , bearing, and fork replaced, since ive got it back the whine (which i had before ) is now louder, it wines worst the more revs ive got , the box is perfect and pulls fine , its just a bit noisey! since its come back it seems louder.. with the gater out it seems very much louder before, i pushed a towel under the concel and the whine is much quiter ! should there be some sort of soundproofing under the centre concel ?? any advice would be good !
