Disco 2 heating problems
« on: April 14, 2010, 00:17:39 »
Hey guys. My heating has started to play up. When the temp gauge says its on half and i have been running the car for 15 min or more the heating still blows out cold.

Even when i have been driving for over an hour the heating still comes out cold. Every now and then i get the full heat come on but then it goes again.

Does anyone know what the problem could be!

Thanks

Sammy D

Check your coolant level asap. Low coolant is the usual cause of the heater blowing cold

Use the pink OAT antifreeze. If it is low it may be worth checking if there are any leaks in the system. The fuel cooler can leak around the o rings - check Urban Panzers website www.discovery2.co.uk

One of the other places for it to leak is where the pipe goes into the engine under the acoustic cover.
