Removing my Tow Bar & Electrics
« on: April 15, 2010, 13:04:33 »
I'm removing my tow bar & electrics as I don't use them.
The metal work is off - only a few bolts, so no problems there.

However, with the electrics I was hoping to find a multi-plug that I would dis-connect and would also make life easier for re-fitting in case I ever did need to tow.

Am I expecting too much or just not looking hard enough?

not sure about newer modles but my old 200 the wires go up to the back of the rear light cluster.. you can get to them by removing the panel next to the dicky seat

wiring should go through a grommet in the floor on the right hand side, pull the grommet out & if its LR wiring you will find the pushin type plug (just pull apart & replace the grommet with a new one so no water get in), if not LR wiring you may have to take the rear side panel off
